Hot air – a killer for a healthy indoor climate

There is a general consensus on one thing: nothing is better than a cosy, heated living space, when it is freezing cold winter outside. However, this artificial heat comes with one crucial disadvantage. When it is cold outdoors and the heat is on indoors, relative humidity can drop below 30%. Even frequent airing does not help, since the cold winter air contains very little humidity and therefore reinforces the drying effect.
